The London Pet Show Live at The Olympia
On September 20th and 21st 2025 the UKpouchies team had the pleasure of attending the London Pet Show Live at The Olympia, and we were pliviledged to have APOPO's UK representative, Emma join us on our stand helping us and our pouchies promote the work the amazing HeroRATs do.
Izzy Becomes A Model
During the weekend the pouchies were not only kept busy meeting their adoring fans, they were also meeting celebrities, taking part in radio interviews and, in Izzy's case, becoming a super model and posed for some photos by professional photographer Chris Knight.
Radio Interview
Izzy also took part with APOPO's UK representative Emma in a local radio interview with Riverside Radio Station, raising public awareness for the work the HeroRATs do.
Meeting Celebrities
And if meeting their fans, modeling and radio interviews wasn't enough our pouchies had celebrities cueing up to meet them and get a special cuddle from them, including TV Vet Graeme Hall from the show Dogs Behaving Badly and music group Beau Bowen.
Conclusion
Needless to say the weekend was a huge success with better than expected foot fall to our booth with people enjoying hands on experience meeting our wonderful team and their pouched rats, Izzy and Teasel.
